Hormonal Balance - The Key to Life, Love and Energy

A Free Event Featuring Author and Speaker John Gray, Ph.D.

September 24, 2010 - Minnetonka, MN

Wednesday, October 13, 2010 will be an evening that will not soon be forgotten!  Lakewinds Natural Foods presents: Dr. John Gray, author of the worlds best-selling relationship book, Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, in a free speaking engagement at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest.

Dr. Gray changed the way we think about relationships. After 16 books and over 50 million copies sold, Gray ranks among the best-selling authors of all time. In Johns latest book, Venus on Fire Mars on Ice, he explains how the choices we make every day impact not only how we feel, but also the health of our relationships.

Jenny DeRoo, Lakewinds Wellness Manager, Minnetonka, MN said, We are delighted to bring this esteemed author and dynamic speaker to Minnetonka, MN. John tells some great stories right out of Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice plus gives us the science and biology to back up what hes been saying about relationships for the past 25 years.

The information in Venus on Fire Mars on Ice has been so helpful. Its given me valuable insights on issues surrounding hormonal imbalances between men and women I never knew existed and helped me to be more forgiving of my partner when he wants to retreat into his cave, said Mary Tellers, Lakewinds Natural Foods Co-op Member.

Its almost as if men and women come from different planets, says Dr. Gray. Recent scientific discoveries have proven the difference between the sexes and how they relate to one another are in part, biochemically based and can be explained by our hormones. These hormonal differences dont just determine whether we like to shop or fix things; they reveal the unique ways each gender deals with stress, explains Gray. In Venus on Fire Mars on Ice, Gray delves into providing a plan to ensure ample production of the crucial hormones our bodies need for both mental and physical stability.

Men and women are strongly encouraged to attend this extraordinary event, Dr. Gray will reveal the link between hormone levels and happiness, as well as, how the connection between stress, blood sugar, body fat and behavior can create lifelong passion and optimal health.

This FREE public lecture will be held on Wednesday, October 13 from 7:00 8:30 pm at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest, located at 5801 Opus Parkway, Minnetonka, MN 55343. Seating is limited. Doors open at 5:30. Registration is a must and can be made at Lakewinds Natural Foods, www.lakewinds.com or by calling (952) 473-0292.

With his many stories on relationships and now the new research to back him up, Dr. John Gray both informs and entertains, says Steven Rosenberg, long time promoter of Dr. Grays events. John has a very unique way of relating to his audience. I have seen his lectures and performances many times and he never disappoints, added Rosenberg.

According to Dr. Gray, anyone who has ever been in love knows that when youre sharing love, feeling loved or giving love, you feel wonderful. This feeling of wonderful is actually the release of stress and the dissipation of cortisol levels. Research indicates that cortisol, a hormone released by our adrenal glands in times of stress, is the culprit that shuts down the production of the other hormones our bodies need. Under stress and high levels of cortisol, the body may stop making feel-good hormones that keep us healthy and happy.

John  Gray interviews may be scheduled by  contacting: Steven M. Rosenberg, SMR&A-PR, (An INK, inc Company) at smrmediarelations@gmail.com.

Record-setting pole to pole quest scheduled for October 2nd

(Gaithersburg, MD ? September 29, 2005) Gustavus "Gus" McLeod is making final preparations and modifications to the "Firefly" the South Korean experimental aircraft, en route to his next attempt at another solo aviation world record, circumnavigating the globe, flying around the world Pole to Pole.

"The 'Firefly' has passed every test to date with 'flying colors,' said McLeod in a recent interview. "I've taken it to 27,000 feet and to speeds of 220 knots, (275 mph) amazing for a plane this size. After several mishaps, I didn't get to finish the trip last year. I can honestly tell you, this will be my last attempt at this or any other aviation record," added McLeod.

Gus is spending the few remaining days prior to his scheduled Sunday, October 2, 2005 departure, (weather permitting), with the aircraft's designer Dr. Seong going over every structural and mechanical part of the aircraft. This week's modifications included adding a turbo-charger needed to help the engine get oxygen at high altitude. Gus also installed four additional fuel tanks capable of holding an additional 200 gallons of fuel.  With a total of 300 gallons, takeoff weight for the "Firefly" will be in excess of 4000 lbs.

"The success of the flight is crucial to South Korea's planned entry into the 'personal aircraft' and unmanned search and rescue market worldwide," said Steven Rosenberg, SM Rosenberg & Associates, President. "During the trip, McLeod will encounter temperature variances of more than 230 degrees Fahrenheit in the plastic/composite aircraft. If Gus makes it, the South Koreans can claim their aircraft can operate in any season in any of the world's temperatures. There are few aircraft built today with that capability," added Rosenberg.

After taking off from the Gaithersburg Airpark, Gaithersburg, Maryland, Gus will be making planned stops in Churchill, Manitoba, Resolute, Nunavut, North Pole and Point Barrow, AK, USA., during the first days of the flight. A complete itinerary is available upon request.

"We are expecting quite a large turnout for the event," said Edward Park, publicist at SMRosenberg & Associates. "Gus is now available for limited interviews prior to his departure on Sunday," added Park.

Gus's year 2000 journey to the North Pole in 1939 PT-17 open-cockpit Stearman, was chronicled by National Geographic Explorer and was watched by millions worldwide. To date, Gus is the only man to successfully reach the North Pole in an open-cockpit aircraft. Gus and daughter Hera appeared as contestants in CBS Television's "The Amazing Race" Season Six.

For more information on the record-setting adventure or to schedule an interview, please contact Steve Rosenberg or Edward Park at email SMRPressRelease@aol.com.
